Gut loving, Sprouted loaf


A beautiful sprouted loaf, that is super gut friendly and nutrient dense! The protein and fats will keep you satiated and will help regulate blood sugar levels. Enjoy with all your favourite toppings.
This can be served with as sweet or savoury. But if you are looking more for a savoury flavour try adding all your favourite herbs to the recipe! We love adding rosemary and thyme :)

You will need:

✔️1 cup of buckwheat Kernals

✔️1 cup quinoa

✔️4 tbsp psyllium husk.

✔️1/4 cup chia seeds

✔️1/4 cup Flaxseeds

✔️3/4 cup of roughly chopped almonds

✔️1/4 cup of linseeds

✔️3/4 cup of sunflower seeds

✔️1 1/2 tbsp coconut oil

✔️good pinch of salt

 

The Super simple method!

 

1. Soak buckwheat & quinoa overnight in filtered water, add a little acid to this i.e juice of half a lemon or a cap full of apple cider vinegar.

2. Mix all ingredients together and add 1 1/4 cup of filtered water.

3. Let the mix rest on bench for 4-6 hours (the longer the better). Make sure it is in a warm spot and covered with a tea towel.

4. Cook in preheated oven 150 C for 90 minutes. Let the loaf cool completely before trying to cut into it.

5. Enjoy!
